Care before and after birth
Your first visit is the same for all of them: a conversation, a look at how you move, and a plan.
Postpartum
For the months after the birth: scars, stomach muscles, leaks and getting back to what you do.
Postpartum careCore and stomach muscles
For a stomach that feels separated, a weak middle or a back that tires.
Core careBladder and bowel
For leaks, urgency, constipation and a pelvic floor that feels too tight or too weak.
Bladder and bowel carePain in the pelvis or low back
Ask about this one at your first visit. We look at how you move and plan from there.

Questions about care
Do I need a referral?
In North Carolina you can start physical therapy without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one, and we tell you before your first visit. If what we find needs a doctor or midwife first, we say so.
Does my plan cover this, and do you take Medicare?
We bill many kinds of plans, including most PPO plans, marketplace plans, Medicaid and Medicare. Your plan decides what it pays. We check your benefits and call you before your first visit.
What if I pay myself?
We give you a written estimate before your first visit, and you pay on the day. If your plan may reimburse you, we give you a detailed receipt to send in. Your plan decides whether it pays.
Not sure where you fit?
Tell us a little and we will point you to the right first visit.
