Video visits, in the states where we are licensed

We see you by video when you are in one of these states during the visit. A therapist can only treat you in a state where they hold a license.

With Ayse, Nohemi or Yen

  • North Carolina

With Ayse

  • Virginia

If you are in another state at the time of a visit, we can't see you by video. Call us and we will find a time for when you are home.

What you need at home

For a video visit in a state where we are licensed, you need three things.

  • A private spot

A room where you can talk, and a floor or mat where you can move.

  • A device with a camera

A phone, tablet or laptop on a steady surface, so we can see how you move.

  • The baby, if you like

The baby is welcome on video too. Pause whenever you need to feed or settle them.

How a video visit goes

Video visits are for people in a state where we are licensed.

  1. 01

    Step 1: A link, then a call

We send a link before the visit. If it doesn't work, we call you.

  2. 02

Step 2: We talk and watch you move

Your therapist asks, watches and explains what they see.

  3. 03

Step 3: A plan to try at home

You leave with a few things to practice and a time for the next visit.

  • Chest pain, trouble breathing, a sudden severe headache or pain, new weakness or numbness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or a fall with a head injury needs emergency care now. Call 911.

Questions about video visits

Do you offer video visits?

Yes. We see you by video when you are in a state where we are licensed: North Carolina, and Virginia with Ayse. Some parts of care are better done in the clinic, and your therapist tells you which.

What is better in the clinic?

Anything that needs hands, such as checking how your muscles work or an internal exam if you choose one. Your therapist tells you which parts suit video.

Is a video visit private?

We use a video service that doesn't record the visit. Please choose a spot where you won't be overheard.
